Inachis io
European Peacock foraging flowers of buddleia, an invasive shrub that grows in my meadow beside a stream. He is there for several years and does not invade the space so I let him, but some wasteland that I know are invading taking the place of host plants for butterflies, because if this shrub attracts butterflies for food, it n is not a support for reproduction. So if you like buddleia, plant a rather sterile variety, you will do something good for butterflies and nature.
